My potato salad recipe

 Potato salad is one of the most famous dishes, and I think many people have eaten it since they were young. Potato salad is available in many places such as school lunches, supermarket side dishes, restaurants and taverns.

 I had my grandmother teach me this recipe. This recipe was made by my grandmother when I was in junior high school. It's very delicious and I love potato salad. This recipe can be made by me, who is not good at cooking.

 I would like to introduce this recipe to people who are not good at cooking or who have not cooked much. Because there are no difficult steps in this recipe.




[Ingredients]

・3 potato

・½ carrot

・1 cucumber

・2 precut cheese

・2 slice ham

・2〜3 tablespoon mayonnaise

・A little salt and pepper

1.First, wash potatoes and wrap them in saran wrap.


2.Second, microwave potato one by one at 600 watts for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, turn it over and microwave it for 1 minute.


3.While warming the potatoes, cut the carrot into quarter-rounds. And boil it in a pan lightly. The amount of water in the pan should be such that the carrots are soaked.


4.Next, Slice the ham thinly. It ’s good to make it about 1 cm square.


5.Slice the cucumber and sprinkle salt on it. Make it as thin as 2 to 3 mm.


6.After that, wash the cucumber and use paper towels to drain the water.


7.Dice the cut cheese.


8.After warming up, peel the potatoes by hand, put in a bowl and mash the potatoes.


9.Next, add salt and pepper to the bowl while tasting.

11.Finally, add mayonnaise to taste and mix.

 For step 1, the microwave may have warmed up after warming the first potato. At that time, you don't have to heat the second potato for 5 minutes. Please adjust.

Warm potatoes are very hot so be careful when touching them. And please be careful not to rot when you put it in a lunch box on a hot day.

 If you want to taste the mayonnaise, add 3 tablespoons. If you want to taste the potatoes, add 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise. If you don't like cheese, you don't have to add cheese. It would be delicious to change the ham to bacon. There are many other arrangements, such as adding onions and changing the way carrots and cucumbers are cut. Make it many times and find your favorite potato salad.
